hundreds of red dots (like specs of dust) in container

overview - i am trying to culture harpacticoid copepod in small containers (those take away containers). i collect harps from the main tank n sump, then culture these harps - tigriopus copepod (i have come to know). but now on the side of these containers , not only tigri nauplii is crawling but red specs of harps are also crawling around - hundreds of them. they are as tiny as rotifers n need a torch light shining at the side angle to be able to see them.

anyone experienced this?

is this red harpacticoid of any harm or value? i search the web, but no info on these.

i do not see this in my tank, only my culture containers.
