Roy

you have to state out your tank water parameter clearly

eg Ammoina, Nitrite, PH, KH, etc

If not nobody can advise you on what to do.

Does your tank have copper? If yes then you have to find the source.

could it be from your diy chiller......what kind of cooling pipe did you use?

yup...your mushroom looked in trouble.......

have you found the source for the presence of copper in your tank?? :)

copper and corals....not good frenz........

a little suggestion....dun get anymore corals until you solve the copper problems

my Ph 8.0

KH 11 dkh

No2 0.3mg/l

No3 12.5mg/l

CA 380

I did add phosphate/silicate control

sometimes it may not be the addictive or control that matters....... finding th source and preventing it could help....

suggestion: can try disconnecting your chiller and monitor your tank parameter for a while...

There is no need to switch on the chiller when the tank is cycling. Switching it on during cycling can lengthen the cycling period.

I don't see where else copper might have got into your tank except from the D.I.Y chiller. What are the pipings made of anyway?!

Always something more important than fish.

COPPER = BAD!!! ALL INVERTS HATE COPPER. even a trace amount would most definitely kill all your inverts in your LR and all. Vertebrates however can tolerate copper. Get rid of your copper before you add any more things. Get rid of your DIY chiller and get copper remover ASAP. save whatever life you can.

Saltwater corrodes almost every coating. Even stainless steel rusts in saltwater. So the coating is rendered useless in saltwater aquariums
