Which skimmer is better for value?

hi to all

i plan to take out about 100++ to buy a better skimmer that can last.

i saw the brand open to me is Bubble Magus / Reef Octopus.

So which is better or is there any other better brand.

And what mode shold i look for

My is a 2ft which some softies and a few small fish inside.

you can try looking for a second hand remora c urchin too.

or a tham rio hang on that costs around 45 bucks

Bubble Magus is good, get those with Aquabee 2000i pump if u can up your budget a bit. They don't require additional feeding pump for most models rated for your tank size. Skimz also not bad for local brand.

cause my water level is only 7" heigh, so is BM usable?

any other recomment? i want to buy a good one that can last for my 2ft.

For 100plus budget all i can say is BM is good enuf for a 2ft tank, for 7" height if the level remains constant then should'nt be a problem as long as once the skimmer pump starts suction the water level is still above the suction hole of the pump. If it drops below the hole then u might need to increase the amount of incoming water to the sump tank. I don't have a clear picture of how your system is setup so can't comment further unless u can state more info.

Reef Octopus BH 2000 is better or Bubble Magus NAC3.5 is better for 2ft sump?

performance wise i'm not sure but i would say it depends on what you're going to put in your sump. the HOB will give you alot of space to put other equipments like various reactors or even space for a refugium
