7. Coralife 3x UV and pump from Petmart - $ 80

8. Custom 2 feet Alage Scrubber w/ 2 x AquaZonic T5 light fixture - $ 250

9. Live Rock, Yellow tang, black percula clown & Blue Tang - $ 60

10. Test kits, T5 lights tube etc - FOC

Will be selling all as a set for $2200 which is much less then my listed price.

Buyers can formed up to buy the whole set and share among yourselves as if I sell the items individually, I will had to sell in certain order which I dun have the time to take care. Sorry for the inconvenience.

erm...why is there such an outcry when he is trying to sell his equipment at a profit when i see people chopping up their zoas and sps colonies making even more disgusting profits?

I see people chop their newly bought sps colonies to sell at $15-$18 per branch. One colony is only about $35. A colony typically has more than 15 branches for those that i see on sale. Wouldnt that make one colony close to $100 profit? Isnt that more disgusting?

I have nothing against people who frag from their established colonies for sale at reasonable pricing. I feel that is part of sharing and preserving nature. But seriously, new colonies? People buy one colony and keep in tank for 1-2 months and make profit of $100? Dang.

Why dont i hear the same kind of outcry against people who profiteer like that? I want to hear the same voices too.

Dont get me wrong, i am not saying that TS is right or wrong. Just voicing my views on the situation.

True to a point. However, i don't see GO or Iwarna go to seller's thread and say "Hey, i sold him that colony for $35. And he was begging for more discounts. Now he is selling frags and making so much money out of it?"

I hope everyone sees my point.

Lfs unlikely will do such thing as they already mark up and open to all customers. Just don't be a supporter for them and hopefully their supporters can ensure viability of those profiteerers. Just enjoy this hobby an stick to those u can "click". Reef on.

SkinBone, Im not saying that making a profit is forbidden down here. do people frag their sps and tell us that it was a rare type. you can still choose not to buy unless u believe him.

but guess the conclusion down here is

1. you can sell your equipment at your liking price. as long as there is buyer .

2. As long as there is buyer asking, do not lie to them and make them believe the tank is a year less. etc

3. do not quote you are the 1st owner is you are not. when the real owner saw your thread, how will he feel?

4. Hopes people who took up your selling price is not the reason he believe that the tank is new, less than a yr etc.

5. NOBODY will stop you from selling at any price if you do not quote them the untruth- even for me.
