Hi, i just started up my denitrator set.. initial thoughts was that it would be simple :S just plugging the tubing into the inlet and outlet (using air tubing and the connectors are grey colored and can be pulled out when the tubes are pushed in) connected to the tank. However there are leaks from these 2 points.

-_- may I know how does these 2 connectors work? push in the tubes, and pull out the grey flaps? Or..? Is there anywhere i can get a solid tubing for this purpose?

Thanks in advance!

is it aqua medic? you need to use those PVC type, harder tubing. push it in and if want to take out, push down the soft portion connected to the connector and pull out the tube. the connector might be lose after a while, so might need replacement which you can get from aqua mart.

Hi there, thanks a lot for your reply. :)

Can you kindly recommend me a place to get the PVC grade type? Been visiting shops but they have the similar soft type which I am using now. I vaguely remember seeing the one u mentioned but just cant recall the location. I didnt know the connector was replaceable! LOL mine sure needs to get changed :) it does feel wobbly.. hopefully aquamart have the exact same one that the denitrator is using..

If you are referring to the stiff tubing such as below, you can get them from several of our sponsor such as Reef Depot, Iwarna and Aqua Marin.
