JizzHut
the fuction that clears the neck of the skimmer looks hmmm.. wont some of the dirty get back into the tank ?
SRC Member Soul Posted November 24, 2010 Author SRC Member Share Posted November 24, 2010 Thats the beauty bout this skimmer, u dont need to turn off the pumps while washing the neck with the auto wash function, just turn the switch to stop foaming action and turn on other switch to wash neck. The dirty water is still kept within the skimmer body so once u turn foaming back on the washed dirt floats up with the foaming. The only downside so far after reading some reviews from other users is that the skimmer's footprint is a little big. Cant go in certain sumptanks so have to run it externally which means u'll need to do some piping work or run hoses.
