Ideal Overflow width

May I know what is the ideal external overflow width for the tank of 36x24x24" ?

I'm thinking of 9 or 10" width against 5" depth..isit sufficient?

Urgently need advice...pls help :bow:!

James, not too sure if there is an ideal dimension but you can take mine as a reference. Size my EOS is Length 12"x Ht 15"x Depth 5". Hope this helps

Hi bro,

I have space constraint so left option of 8~10" as the rest area are use for 2x wave maker. According to tank maker, the minimum is 8" so I may choose the wider one of 10" lor .
