Hi, I am coming back to reefing. Will be converting my FW tank to marine.

Getting myself prepare for next weekend, right after my exam, to start the marine tank.

This is my current tank status. Most of the LS had been cleared.

Guess what is this for?

Algae turf scrubber. Point to note in order for ATS to be effective it has to be big enough to support its current tank size.

Nice chichlids you have inside. I am sure the cabinet and the tank will make a nice setup. What happen to the other tank and is there a sump for the 5ft?

the other tank will still be there. I do have a sump for the 5 footer.

Nice. I switch over from planted to marine back also... at least the necessary plumbing and sump are there to kickstart the switchover.

Thanks. Still long way to go. Need to fine tune my ATS in FW first before i put in salt water.

^ agreed.. planted aro and discus are hard to achieve and strike a balance , i'm sure u'll be well prepared for reefing! nice setup on the way!

Bought 40kg liverocks from pasir ris farm but still not enough. Topping up with water.

Wah ball rolling liao good to see bro, just a little feedback on the SUNSUN wave maker, office setup had 2pcs all 2 had their impellor rods corroded within 4mths of usage and broke. Pump started making rattling noise after that and jammed. Hope u have better luck with yours.
