hey if you not sure, dun give wrong info. Most likely these days you wun get to see royal gramma any more or very rarely as there is not much caribbean shipment. Most of them are being replaced by brazil shipment. Thus that show why royal gramma is scarce as it come from caribbean. Think what ah siao saw was brazilian gramma.

Carribean fishes are hard to come by now......got to keep fingers crossed....see whether any wanders into neighbouring waters and kana caught......

Loreto gramma is royal gramma.

Books seems to refer to both species as Gramma loreto

BTW, wat's the price for Loreto?

brazillian gramma = Gramma brasiliensis

royal gramma = Gramma loreto

price wise,

brazillian $25-35

royal..a lot more

the main difference is the black stripe along the eye,

but if you compare side by side,

the royal gramma is much more colourful

Yup, Henry brought in a few of them some weeks back. But all sold out in 1 day.

Hey yah I also looking around for royal gamma.... Sigh... So far really never see.... They used to sell for $23 I remember... But now I believe it's much much more ex....

So is there any chance that one day our LFS like R*born would have? Or really virtually zero chance of getting this fish anymore?
