i have an adult koran angelfish ( it was given to me y my uncle who owns a kelong ) i can;t reject him as your know chinese all very shy. ok the real problem is that it is not eating anything in my tank.. i tried giving it pellets food and brine shrimp it does not wan to eat... who should i do and what food should i provide for my fish.... help please ,,, thanks..

How long has your uncle been keeping it? Ask what is it's usual diet and then follow. Maybe its used to what your uncle feeds it and not what you are providing.

It may need some time to settle down then.

Once it is hungry it should eat meaty foods like mysis etc.

Try feeding it with nori.

nori are sea weed ? oic okok i am goin to get some mysis shrimp... btw achilles can u share with me what you consider best to add in a sump tank ??

Do try the forum search on "sump tank". It is a popular topic and there are many replies/comments/opinions incl pictures and DIY projects too

My proposal is do consider making space for a refugium - it is a good thing to grow macrolagae (basically seaweed) in the refugium as a means to "export" nitrate because the algae consumes it.
