Hi all experts,

I just found that in my tank there are a lot of white "hairs" and I also found several Asterinas. Is this a good sign?

What white hair.. Got a photo.. Like that very vague a lot of possibility... Asterinas are considered pests, they will feed on zoas if not wrong...

It is just detritus trapped by small algae growth... Just wipe it off... nothing serious... If it is the dying anemone den throw the anemone away...

Jizzhut, That anemone is a magnifica anemone, not the easiest anemone around, it is very light demanding and very sensitive.. I only have success with them once only... The rest will melt away.. And your doesnt look good.. You can prepare to throw it away liao..

most asterina stars are good cleaners, only a small portion of its class are considered harmful. so its depends on which are you having.

If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
