ATI Blue or Actinic Tubes

Hi all,

Wanna ask all fellow reefers who are currently using blue or actinic tubes from ATI, which has the most bluish tint in color?

Is the color close to the bluish color similar to LEDs?

Wanna ask all fellow reefers who are currently using blue or actinic tubes from ATI, which has the most bluish tint in color? blue are bluish and true/pure actinic are more on the purple side. both are different league

Is the color close to the bluish color similar to LEDs? that depends on the wavelenght used for the LED you are mentioning. if you are mentioning blue on the royal blue spectrum, about 445-460nm, then no. not that similar.

Again in simple layman terms, which kind of ATI bulbs would be able to give the kind of " close enough" LED effect?

As not using LEDs, wonder whether T5s and especially with ATI wide range of blues and actinic tubes is able to achieve or even close to the blue LED color tone.

for blue and from ATI's, blue plus is the closest i find. but blue effect from LED is still the best imo.
