If your tank was rusty, you would have to remove all the rust by using a wire brush first before painting over the metal again. Other wise if you paint over the rusty parts, it's not going to do much good.

There is always a choice in this hobby. It's not that you were forced into this hobby but you WANT to have this hobby. Important thing is safety, for you and your loved ones.

Thank for all bro out there for the advise, now the ammonia drop to zero after 2 week of cycling but still detect nitrite n nitrate zero as of today , although few day ago nitrate was detected but not as high. Using live sand and cure rock . Some coral come with LR is alive some die off, shall I turn on chiller now?

Thank, but is only 2 week is my tank cycle? Thought should be minimum 4 week.

U mean u started intro LS into tank when water cycled only 2 weeks?

By right that shouldn't be the case. I remember I cycle my water longer than a month.

No, I mean is my tank cycle ? As ammonia and nitrate now zero, as it is only the 2nd week now, any time difference for 2 ft tank? Does it mean smaller tank take shorter time to cycle?
