Just got a stupid maroon clown, tot it supposed to be w/ anemone, some how it prefered my jewel, why is it and how can I tempt it to switch to anemone, will my jewel become bald after prolong period of disturbing?

although they are cute

they have the tendancy to disturb LPS even with anemone around

remove the jewel until the clown finds the anemone... usually, they don't choose other corals after finding an anemone..

erm.... I use to have clown that plays musical chair

one minute anemone, one minute hammer, next minute jewel ....

How severe will it affect the jewel, will it turn bald after some times??

It will irritate it enough for it to die. Even without the clown disturbing it, its still very hard to keep.

My wife somehow shifted the Jewel out of sight from the anemone and clown, so the clown had to choose between jewel and anemone and he stick to anemone, my jewel was now safe from that clown. Just hope my jewel is hardy enough to stay long .....

My tomato clown prefers teh toadstools hahaha. I just left it at that .

Your maroon clown is not stupid.

What kind of anemone you have?

Are you aware that each species of clownfish host different types of anemone?

Try bubble tip anemone for your maroon.

i dont put anemone anymore as it's hard to keep and somemore it make diff spicese of my clown fish become firece and fight...
