Will the live rock be dead..??

Hi wanna ask if me put live rock in bucket and filled it up with just tap water will the live rock be dead..?

entering into a new world reef..

TANK :- 3 x 2 x 2 (Sump 2 x 1.5 x 1.5)

SALT :- H2Ocean Natural Reef Salt

LIGHTING :- DE Lighting Retrofit (4 x 39w 3Feet T5 ATI)

SKIMMER :- Octopus Skimmer

SKIMZ FR :- Chemi-Pure + Seachem Phosphate Remover

WAVEMAKER :- SunSun TwinHead

CHILLER :- Resun CL450

Filter :- Lots of bio balls ( Dry & Wet )+ Chaetos + Mangroves + LR

3 FT DECOM...

The Bacteria inside the live rocks will be dead since its fresh water and also there is no pump running thus not enough oxygen level for the Bacteria inside the rock to be alive.

Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.

Hi thankz for the info.. So is there any chance for live rock to be saved if me put it into te tank back like after 24 hrs in the bucket...??

Use wet newspaper and cover but 24 hrs abit too long

Tank : 4 X 2 X 2 with low iron front panel and external overflow

Skimmer : BK SM200 with waste collector

Return Pumps : Red Dragon 6m3 and Ehiem 1262

FR : 2 X Deltec 509 & powered by AB2000

Nitrate Filter : Deltec NF 509 and tee off from AB2000

Calcium R'tor : Deltec PF 501 with RM secondary chamber

Kalkwasser R'tor : Deltec KM500

Chiller : Pansonic 1 HP Compressor with 20m titanium Coil

Wave Makers : 4 X Tunze 6055 with 7096 & Vortec MP40w

Controller : GHL Profilux

Lighting : ATI Powermodule 10 or 8 tubes

Water Top-up : Water Top-Up tank powered by Tunze Osmolator

Use a moist cloth can also prevent LR bacteria from dying faster...

If insist putting in bucket,filled with seawater lo. Throw in a air pump will solve your problem.

Some1 doesn't 1 2 do anything find an excuse,some1 1 2 do something find a mean!
