It's used to move water.

EAquanature sells it so does PR, T95 and Reefworld.

HOW MUCH$$ULD U suggest for doing a 3ft as beautiful as yours?

And what's the fan-like ting in the tank[dun tell me it's the wave maker]!!!

BTW how long did u take to do up yur tank as in it is now?[years]?]

To answer your questions...

1) $5 - 8k should be a good starting point.... but frankly the more the merrier....

You would not want to know how much I have already spent......

2) Its a project that I'm fooling around with.....

3) My reef is about 1.5 years old......

You guys are so furnie......

Berry ,

The green thing in the first picture (left hand corner) is a very very stupid idea....

The thing on the right hand side of my latest pic is a Tunze Stream model 6080...

One of the best acquisition for SPS Reefers...... churns out total of 8000 l per hr with a mere 17 watts......

Something every SPS reefer should consider getting......

Most hardcore SPS reefers here have them in their reef.....

Spiderone

Powerheads put out a narrow jet of water at high velocity, the streams move high volumes in a much wider pattern at lower velocity.

Difficult to answer your question, depends on how big your tank is, position of powerhead/stream etc

dun mind me asking. i got a 2200l/hr PH in my tank and it blow half my DSB over my rocks and to the other side of the tank. abt a good 3-4 inch worth. if i get a tunze will this happen??

juz to ease your mind .... i have one inside my 3 ft n it does move a bit of the DSB INITIALLY . Now it;s all settled in ....no sand storm in the tank ... :D

The stream is powerful and can even move small pieces of LR. But it is usually place quite high up the tank so won't move sand so much. Unless tank is only 1 ft tall.

I think (marine) therefore I am
