Thanx bro... If i can get both feeding, wil pass u 1... :)

wah. so generous. thanks :)

they are difficult to feed and when feeding, can die mysteriously too. i wish you the best of luck. have tried 4 times already, managed to pair them up each time but did not make it :(

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

on a side note, people who are going to reborn's hawaii shipment tomorrow should take note of the red tail tamarin wrasse, A. chrysocephalus.

it's rarely seen here but common in the states. a very very gorgeous but challenging species, both males and females are beautiful.

males have a brilliant orange head, which is where it get's it's latin name from. Chryso = orange/red, cephalus = head.

females are black with numerous white spots and a red tail, unlike their yellow tail cousins from indonesia and philippines.

a sandbed is required for them and like most tamarin wrasses, they may be a challenge to feed and adapt.

I think the females are quite common in CF. Seen them a couple of times before :)

males are very rare. to my knowledge, never come before.

females are also rare. i dunno if CF bring in before, but i'm not surprised if they do. but the tails are red.

there are many species that look similar but are yellow tails, and those are veryyyyyy common.

u sure you didn't see this instead?

LCK : good number of AT from this current shipment bout 3" size,

2 already feeding aggressively on pellet (from last Hawaii shipment, also about 3" size), plenty of small sized scribbler angel and a few large size scribbler, and a lot of yellow tang of varying size.

CF : 1 x 2"~2.5" nakoae wrasse, plenty of exquisite and radiant wrasse.

2 x geometric hawkfish, 2 x Liopropoma multilineatum

from wht i can recall, there's more livestock definitely, :D

what time is the shipment and whats flame angel block?

shipment 1pm tentative.

flame angel block is a colloquial term for flame angels with very thick black bars. they are usually much redder than normal flames too but are not the true hawaii flame.

the previous batch of blocked angels look something like this.

notice the very thick blockish bars.

woo, finally red tail comes again.

comes very very seldom, and can hide under the sand for weeks before it start to come out.

kept one before 7 years back, feed almost immediately for my case. but watch out for the gravel bed. make sure its not coarse till it cut the skin away and later infection steps in.

If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

nope. i am sure. cause that time this forum is still not into wrasses and i was into gobies. Saw that wrasse, asked auntie where it's from. She said hawaii. price tag quite ex for me then. I think I also did some research on them. hahaha something about their living habitats like one male many females etc etc. forgot the full version.

Time then I think I was only 21? lol.
