Hmmm me abit puzzled by my Sera NO3 testkit (yah yah i know i shld change, but gotta use this up first...) After i test the water and read from the tube, it is just a very slight orangy-red color, but after i leave it on the table (without cap) for half an hour, the whole thingy turns bright red!!!

So do i take the first initial reading or the one half an hour later?!?! Issit because of the atmosphere nitrogen thats causing this to happen?

:blink::blink::blink:

Take the reading about one to three minutes after mixing. The colour change is due to oxidation and is inaccurate.
