Running time of chiller on Sun 13Sept?

Hi guys,

Just want to check yesterday how much long your chiller had been running each time when it kick in.

Reason is my chiller running almost double the time to cool down the tank yesterday.

Example normally, 1.5hours but yesterday it took 3 hours.

Do you guys experience the same or my chiller dying soon.. Hopes not!!

Prehapes you can also provide us with more information on your tank size , water volume , brand and HP of your chiller ? Did you recently try to change the temp setting ?

You might want to consider bringing your chiller for a servicing or checking as well. The longer chiller run may also due to the change in room temperature or additional equipments inside your tank which might add in the extra heat.

Tank size 3x2x2.5, Sump 2.5x1.5x1.5(water only 1 ft high)

Calculated volume = 600liters if minus LR maybe minus 15% water volume = 510liters.

Chiller is Arctica 1.5HP. No change in setting.

Don't know what really gone wrong.

Did anyone tried this troubleshooting guide STEP2 before?

I tried.. It take a whopping 25minutes instead of 5minutes.

Is it the guide is meant for temperate countries not tropical countries like Singapore
