Hey bros and sis,

firstly... can a frogfish be kept with eels, pocupine puffer and a small banded cat shark/bamboo shark if its large enough?

and also, how much is a cheapest frogfish now?

thinking of having this new addition into my tank. if i cant find one big enoughi will isolate it till its bigger. =)

will appreciate every help given. Thanks!

how big is your tank? filtration?

what species of eel?

do you actually have a tank with the eel/porcupine/shark in it now?

oh my tank is currently 2.5feet by 1.5 by2.5.

i have a ribbon a snowflake a zebra and a yellow head and a pocupine in it now. all eating mp.

the bamboo shark is the newest. and is being separated in the tank for now as i want it to be more proactive while feeding first before letting him in.

reason being, i let him in the first few days but realise that unlike the eels and puffer, he doesnt come and 'ask' for food. but the good thing is that the eels n puffer left him alone while inside.

Ask yourself in the 1st place, why u are hosting a shark in ur 2.5 feet tANK?

2.5 feet tank converted to inches will be 30 inches, and u are hosting a shark that will turn adult approximately 41 inches in length.

Expecting a full grown shark with 41 inches in a 30 inches of tank (2.5 feet)?

Encourage you to do some readup before buying your live stock.

Please feel free to look up http://saltaquarium.about.com/od/sharkprofiles/p/bbbambooshark.htm

Advice you to give up the sharks to someone who can provide a better home.

Average Size:

Growing as much as 12 inches in a year's time, adults reach approximately 41 inches in length.

Minimum Tank Size Suggested:

180 gallons.

Habitat:

Being a nocturnal, bottom-dwelling species that inhabits deeper waters where little light is present, the Brownbanded Bamboo Shark is light sensitive. Typically it stays hidden in an aquarium with bright lights on, and therefore should be provided with an adequately sized cave or light-sheltered space where it can hide. | Course textures can scratch this shark's belly, which can lead to infection, so it requires a soft sand substrate.

Basically frog fish can live with other fishes so long their size dun fit it's mouth will do.

Price of a frog fish is about from $30 dollars onwards ba.

By the way dun buy fishes on impulse. Be it a small or big fishes. Read up first before purchase.

Your tank even though big enough for some fishes but u must also understand whether r they compatible.

Some1 doesn't 1 2 do anything find an excuse,some1 1 2 do something find a mean!
