Electronic Timer

I just got my hand on this electronic timer recently when my "The***" timer fail me. It looks good and works well, thus i sharing it with the rest of the reefer.

Here a picture of the electronic Timer.

This timer is only slightly larger then a 3pin plug. Abit smaller or almost same size as "The***" timer.

Best of all, it is able to program up to 16 different times for different days (Mon, Tues, Sat etc). A sample of the instruction shown below.

And it only cost $19.90. It can be bought at Carref*** at Plaza Sing.

yes. it could be program to single minute. Meaning u can set it like 12.17pm etc. Maybe i bought it at promotion prices (bought it at PS carref***) ? shrugz.

Really thank for such a good and cheap timer. i am using E timer too, but mine cost me 40++ and it only can programme to hour only, and it starting to fail after 6 mths. hope that this pcs will last.

This will be excellent to time the kalkwasser top-up pump to be activated at nite only... and on every even hour or so so that the tank water has more time to stabilise etc etc :-)

I have an electronic timer too...it can set different programmed timings per day also...but I have no idea how to make it switch on only certain plugs at certain times and not all of them at the same time.....

Is it theorectically possible in the first placE?

think u have to use a few timers lor...whatever things u connect to one timer...will turn all on or all off with the timer's settings

Ah..then wat's with the different programme settings for different days? Kinda obsolete are'nt they if everything turns on at the same time?

maybe there's this appliance that you want to turn on from 8 to 10 am on mondays....and then 5 to 7pm on mondays also...but then 6 to 8 on tuesdays and then 9 to 10am on wednesday and so on...so the programming can be done lor..

lets say monday you usually come home late...u want certain appliance to be on from the moment u step into the house..so u can make use of such modes lor...mondays come home late...tuesday come home early...wednesday come home late again....blablablah..hehe

Can two of this timer be place side by side in a extension plug? I found out that my analog timer doesn't fix in.

Depending on your type of extension plug. Some of them the width between each connection is bigger and is able to fit two side by side. Currently i'm am doing it now. But take note only some extension cord is able to fit two side by side.

i managed to put these 2 side by side...just managed...not perfect fit though...yes...depends on the spacing of the extension sockets and also the width of the timers also...

not too sure...about 30 to 40..bought alot of stuff together with these long time ago..so cant remember also

this one got up to seconds display...normally timers only show up to minutes..but not that it makes a big difference..hehe

me dont really like e-timer even they r gd to program diff task but i got 3 and 2 fail on me...and some more it cost alot...

the cheapo manual analog work better and more relable...

I have one electronic timer that has already lasted me 4 years.....I don't even wipe the dust off it..nor do i even bother to check the back-up battery.......
