Hawkfish, Coral Banded Shrimp, and Cleaner shrimps

Hi guys,

My Hippo Tangs and Clarkii clownfish keep pestering my Coral Banded shrimp to groom them, even though they aren't cleaners.

Would it be safe to introduce a jumbo-sized cleaner shrimp, and what species I should get?

My tank has 2 hawkfish in it so I'm not sure if it's a risk I should take.

I know hawkfish eat shrimp, but so far my Coral Banded shrimp are fine... (and they're rather small.)

Thanks in advance!

Hmm I kinda think that the coral banded shrimp and the sally lightfoot is quite aggressive maybe u can remove this critters and exchange them for the 2 cleaners. Actually blood/fire shrimps are good cause they are quite "shy" compared to the pacific cleaner shrimp which snatches food from almost anything... :pirate:

as for the risk with the hawkfish I'll bet on it since you will be feeding that fellow ;)

just my 2 cents

Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.
