My tank is placed in the balcony. I used To Set lighting timer according to the sun.

However when I come home from work which is about 9pm and light has aleady switch off and I can't see them anymore.

Recently I re-adjust the light to start at 6pm-12am. But my question is will the fish be lack of sleep and stress out?

I think fishes should be ok.. just worry about algae out of control... Cheers..

slowly adjust it...

you can start the lighting time half an hour later everyday...

with the lights going off half an hour later daily until u achieve the time that you want..

my photoperiod is from 6pm-1am daily cos i'm only at home at night most of the time...

my fishes have adjusted to this timing.. :)

Wow... That's a long day with light. Imagine your tank will be having light for as long as the sun comes out till 12am on your artificial light.

Ya man... Algae is the key thing then...

They will be growing like nobody business...

Some1 doesn't 1 2 do anything find an excuse,some1 1 2 do something find a mean!
