out of point...but. G3 can mount macro filter meh? the lens mount has no grooves for filter slots. unless you use the cokin style filter holder.

i was assuming it has a threaded adaptor for filters

that one you must remove the whole lens mount to fix. if you check, the front of the lens doesn't have threading for slotting in the filter. (=
