Its's been a really long whiile since I updated here! groupwavereversed.gif

Some mishap that happened over the pass 2 months, my Rubricaudalis has passed on and so did my other flasher wrasse. The rubricaudalis died cause he jumped into my filter sock. I was modifying my sump to include a filter sock, the mount I made didn't have 'combed' edges. I guess my Rubricaudalis was abit of an adventurer and took a wrong step. Hai.... The other flasher died of starvation. Just refused to eat.

I have since re-modified it to include a comb design

Anyway, some new photos!

Running-in the skimmer now. Hehe.

Over last night, I collected a skimmer cup full of yellowish liquid skimmate; emptied it and head to school.

Today when I came back after class it was about 3/4 full not very yellow...

Readjusted the air tap and position of the skimmer collection cup. A nice thick foam forming now.

Yar man! It's working quite well I would say! I notice a difference in the smell of the saltwater. I guess my water in the pass was pretty bad.

Now's time to be patience and wait for my SPS to color up nicely. MUST BE PATIENT. DON'T KEH KIANG ADD THIS ADD THAT ANYMORE! poster_oops.gif
