Bro,

You set to the blue mode(Short pulse)...

First step is to set the speed of the flow you want it to be with the control den press set..

Next Step, turn the dial that you used to control the speed to control the frequency, you should see the LED blink according to the on/off frequency.. Adjust untill you get the wave... It will take 1-2 minutes and try to off your other return and make the tank as little disturbance as possible after that den on your return...

Once confirmed, pres and hold set untill it blinks blue and green..

for speed wise it depend on Ur needs of Ur LS or even the length of Ur tank placement of it at which angle also play a part

always try an error and till u get the setting you're happy with

oh yea and does the mp40 dry motor side get very hot cause mine did after 3 days and its dam hot ....i off and on again and tune to maximum speed to hear if any noise or vibration but not occur so is the mp40 suspose to react like that or did i do something wrong?
