I kept both of them in same 2ft tank before.

And my flame angle is the 1st in the tank about 2.5" then when i add in the coral beauty (2"). The flame angle kept chase and attach the coral beauty non stop! Till the whole fish injury badly.

What i do was catch the flame angle and hold it in 'beta box' in the main tank let it see the coral beauty can swim freely in the tank for a day then release it back.

That time i repeat above method for two time. Ending both fish stay in same room, still will bully and chase it but no tat type of 'non stop'.

For me it work! good luck to u.

Yup....

The tricks is to contain the aggressive one while let the newbies roam for 2 days before letting back the old tank mate back....

Alternately you may want to try to release the newbies in the middle of the night where all fish has sleep....

Tested with my last intro Tang and the rest of the Tang seems not so attracted to the new intro Tang....

Bro Darren, maybe u should try one method at a time from both bro tips.. u never it might work and you dun have to sell liao..

thats what i did initially. kept the coral beauty in a betta box for a week. both the flame and coral beauty didn't seem to be bothered about each other so after that week i released the coral beauty. first few days was still okay except both fishes were obviously staying out of each others way. then came the day where the coral beauty decided it was boss

after which the coral beauty went into confinement, again and i took the chance to slightly re-arrange the rockscape (i didn't want to change it entirely cause i love the way it is now). round two of coral beauty vs flame showed the coral beauty winning for the second time *sigh* the poor flame was chased until it was hiding in the cave housed by my royal gramma. maybe it was because of the size difference. in the past i tried a smaller coral beauty which unfortunately was no match for the flame of the same size. now its the other way round.

a really blur picture but it think it works for those who wants a look at the coloration. body is bright orange and not the common yellow
