if it appears if your tank is very new, it's new tank syndrome.

can't do anything about it. let it grow and die off naturally.

Silica is present in our tap water as silicon dioxide

So if you are using tap water to top up or make salt water, you should switch to distill or deionized water.

sorry to say tis.mine present phosphate tester reading is 0.

but still got slight brown algae. but not as much as b4.

i using DIY deionized filter single type. will tats gd enough...

any comment.

silicates.

present in the water as silicates (SiO3). not silicon dioxide. silicon dioxide is sand.

to remove silicates, top up with RO/DI water and not tap water. diatoms grow well in high silicate content.
