Small white dots on aquarium glass

Hi,

I'm new to this hobby (maybe around 1mth's experience). I wanna know if anyone encountered small white dots that are clinging onto your tank glass and they appear to be swaying with the current in the tank. I also noticed some small white worms crawling among the white dots and wonder if they are related. Also wanna know if these white dots pose a threat to the fishes (eg. parasites) or are they common encounters in a marine tank.

are the small white dots alive and moving all over or are they just "stuck" to the side of the tank?

No, they are stuck on the glass but sway with the current of the tank. Noticed got some small white worm-like organisms among them

A rough photo would help a bit... Small dots might be pods or just some precipitates... Just wipe it away if you find it a eye sore..

they're too small to take pics of. Btw,those are not parasites or anything harmful rite?
