Advice needed on skimmer

hi there

A very good day to all of u bros & sis

i need some advice on skimmer .. I m using the Reef Octopus Orca Model 100-INT. everything was fine till last nigth the skimmer seems to be giving out hell lot of tiny air bubble and now my main tank is full of tiny air bubbles...I m seeing nothing but only air bubbles.Whats the cos of it and how do i settle this problem ????

As for now i have shut off the skimmer .........Pls advice

nothing bro all i did was took out the top for washing ...

oh so u did off ur skimmer pump?

than u have to allowed it to kick in first cause where as some model of the skimmer require to kick in

no lei i never off the skimmer at all it was still running when i took the top out for washing ........thats what i have been doing all the while bro

a few ways u can try

on/off ur pump

check whether is the pump having anything stuck wash it as well

check the air hose is it block

check ur cup is it crack/ properly install

ok bro cover good no crack , air host clear and the small hole for the water stucking in also clean .........just took it out and wash ..............i feel like smashing this skimmer just got it for 2 months only lei

for this kind of issue is mostly due to the pump so even after u dismantle the pump and clean it still the same??

u must take out the shaft and clean as well

Since you only get it for 2 month, why dont try calling the verndor to check as well what maybe the problem ? It should be under warrenty ?
