Recommendation of skimmer and FR

Hi, as above, which skimmer and FR are recommended for a 400L FOWLR? Looking for cheaper alternatives. For FR, I am looking at a SKIMZ FM100 and skimmer, maybe Reef Octopus or SKIMZ skimmers. Any advice? Thx.

if budget is a constraint, u can consider alternatives such as beckett...though it is an old technology n u will need to get a separate pump to power it (usually rio 20, 50 watt), it is cheap and veri effective...my 2 cents
