I got myself a second hand eheim pump 1260.. it seem when i place the pump out of water,

it doesn't suck the water?. is it due to replacing a new sealing ring? or other things.

when i get the pump, ti doesn't come with the inlet connector, so i went to hardware shop

and get those similiar connector.

anyway if its the sealing ring, may i know roughly how much?

thanks all

It doesn't work that way. You need to have water in the hose or tube for it to start pulling in water.

It doesn't work that way. You need to have water in the hose or tube that is connected to the pump for it to pull in water. It's an o-ring by the way.

so i have to 'fill' water from the inlet of the hose to the pump only or also the outlet hose too?

anyway i call it o-ring too.. but i'm being more specific as the eheim spare parts call it

item no: 7269350-Sealing ring by the way.

thanks for the input
