problem with hydor pump

MY hydor korallia 1 circulation pump suddenly stop working after a power trip. I tried dismantaling and assembling it but it still doesnt work? Does anyone knows whats wrong with it? Is the impeller spoiled? Or must i get a replacement. thx

did you try to take out the impellar to wash it?

try soaking in vinegar mixed with water for half/one day.

wash it clean, then try again, if there's no response the motor might be faulty.

check also to see whether impellar/impellar holder broke

hmm, if it is due to a power trip, most likely have burnt the motor/fuse..... i suspect only. I do have other electrical appliances gone after a power trip. Water may have sipped into and that's y trip. Just my suspicious... hope this is not the case.

impeller is alright to me. Gosh if the motor burns then i have to get a new one right?

if under warranty you check with the LFS you brought from see can test / exchange for you.

if not under warranty, i suspect motor up lorry and might need to get a brand new / 2nd hand

I bought mine from nature aquarium but the guy there didnt fill in the waranty card or give me a receipt. How can i test to know if the motor is the one that spoilt

Try cleaning it and give kick-start. I had a same problem but now back to normal function.
