SRC Member AloysiusMun Posted June 30, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted June 30, 2010 Amazing. Its not easy to maintain these colors, not only do you need intense light, you need light outputs at the appropriate wavelengths too. What lighting set-up are you using to color them up? Thanks Aloysius for the input. I could not agree anymore the importance of lighting effect on sps colouration. That said, the overall water parameter such as nutrient level, ca, kh and mg etc plays an equally crucial factor for sps health and colouration. Lighting wise, I have been experimenting with T5s and MH, find both produce good results . Generally observation is that lower nutrient level requires lower light intensity for sps, currently those frags are just using T5s with ATI tubes. Quote Treat others the way you wanna be treated... vurbul
Power la bro your frags. Took me a long time to epoxy all to my LR till my hands cramp. But they are all very nice specimens. It didn't take long for the polyps to emerge. Very healthy frags. Thanks man!!!!

yellowtang
Strongly recommend B3, Salmon Pink Digi. The color is astonishing. Stands out very well in the sps reef tank. Pinky! Next recommendation is B9, Lime Green Mille. Actually is a obscene wavy hairy monster. If you like full glory polpy extension sps, this is it. Goal ( too much WC ) for it. Another satisified reefer.
