SRC Member jem Posted June 30, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted June 30, 2010 Hi bros, does anyone have an idea where i could get a programmable timer ala extension plug. Comes in the form of an extension plug but the programmable timer is integrated and timing can be set digitally. Im looking at about 4-5 Sockets. Reason being, im tired of the looks and quality of extension plugs with cheapo inaccurate timer lying beside the tank. It gives the tank a more proffesional look as well I found a similar product at fish-street. but it only comes in 3 socket form. picture taken from fish-street.com

Those are like a circuit board where you will connect your equipment wires to the switch... And the timer switch is not cheap from what i remember years back when I researched on it (Halfway).. But it will not trip your whole house if one of the equipment trip... Lorenzo not keeping lor... He keeping his car.. LOL... SRC Member jem Posted July 24, 2010 Author SRC Member Share Posted July 24, 2010 I just received my timer from hongkong... cost me total less than 4 red notes (including shipping) it is a great product.. Advantage: - Timing is accurate as it is digital - No more messy looks of big bulky timer jutting out of the electric socket.. - Allows individual Monday Tues Wed Thu Fri Sat Sun timing (eg Mon Timer 1 one, Tue Timer 2 on, Wed Timer 1 & 2 off Timer 3 on) Disadvantage: - If u want to on a particular light, you have to switch on all the light and overright the timing.. (the timer will then adjust accordingly for the next event)
