Was told by LFS ok to mix it.

Didn't know the hermit caught my sand star n start munching it's limbs 1 by 1.

Now my star looks so short lo.

Just wonder will it die? They will grow back right?

Some1 doesn't 1 2 do anything find an excuse,some1 1 2 do something find a mean!

Hermit are opportunistic scavengers, their job is to clean up any unwanted or decaying matters.

How long have you have your star? If it is also quite recent, it could be due to the fact that the star is not able to acclimate into your tank thereby may have necrosis in it's limbs and causing the hermit to feed on them.

I oso have this problems with my sand star and hermits. Recently intro-ed 2 sand stars into my tank n luckily i caught the hermit sitting on top of the star and trying to poke it with its pincers. My hermit so far eat 2 of my turbo snails le so I wonder if it will also eat my stars. Hope someone can clarify this.
