Elegance not opening up.

Hey guys any advice on why elegance that has been with me for 6mths isn't opening up fully, semi recessed in skeleton? Can't be disease as if it is it would have been wasted within a mth.

Pls advice.

Parameters are Ph 8.19, NO3 20, PO4 0.5, Ca 350, temp 26.

Placement on the sandbed semi shaded area. Currently using 6 T5 39W

Yes not opening when the lights are on.

Well i've not been feeding prawns but i have been dosing osyter eggs and KentMarine zoomax which is ideal for LPS

PO4=0.5ppm? isnt that relatively high in a reef tank?

elegance coral disease can take more than 1 month to kill it.

That means chances are its been hit by the elegance disease, sad.

0.5 is high and many corals cannot tolerate this concentration

Hmm... I got a elegance and I've only feed coral food for 2 months+ already. I try shifting before n it won't open fully. Needs a certain position then it will open fully. Try facing it upwards or maybe placing it 45 degree.

same.. mine after i shift at a different position than it starts to open up... i guess it due to current flow also..
