ok a few question to ask

1.) As u said it noisy what kind of sound it produce rubbing noise or loud clicking noise

2.) when u heard the noise is it submerge in water or out of the water

3.) Did u open the frt portion(impeller) before if so open up again n see anything inside, if no fix it back n test again

4.) when u power on and there's sound is the pump moving and pumping water

if all the above have chk and the sound is still there go back to the shop and show them for an exchange unit

i hear a loud motor noise when submerged in water ..

i had open up and look at it inside out.. no foreign particle found.

operation wise is perfectly fine.. but the noise is too annoying. i can even hear it outside my house..

i had dismantle it and decided that i should send it back..

u said that u had experience it with Rio pumps before ? any idea what went wrong ? is it manufacturing defect ?

is it suppose to run quietly ? i switch back to my old dymax now and it is completely silent.
