Pest Anemone (not Aiptasia)

Recommended Posts

Hi has anyone got experience with removing this kind of anemone? I bought some macroalgae from irwana, didnt check. Found out it was infested with them. Now my refugium has lots of them. No harm actually because they can't reach my main tank, but i want to keep seahorses in the refugium, so they must go

ok tried the kalkwasser method. Works for me, after injecting they will dislodge. maybe there will be 1 or 2 left.

Yup they look like they are Thalassianthus Aster.

Will get a raccon butterfly if they grow back.

Bro,

Once they dislodges, you need to collect them to be thrown away, if not they will just migrate to another part of the tank.

Haiya... forgot to mention... I got some Joe's Juice left... may be can share... is ok....

But take note... they still be back in months time.... same as Kalkwasser/Calcium Hydroxide.... base on my experience... add at least one peppermint shrimp is the best for aiptasia...

Cheers and Happy Reefing....
