one of my black clownfish developed a red patch on his left side. It is on the white stripe on his body. He is not eating as much and he tends to stay at the same spot at the sandbed. Is it possible that he has some kind of parasite? i only have a pair of black clowns, and one cleaner wrasse in my tank... no other fishes... NO3 at 10ppm, PO4 at 0ppm.. kindly help.. just did WC today.. hope it would make it.. i dont seem to have luck with black clowns :( the other clown is perfectly fine and feeding well..

Probably a bacterial infection of some sort. Best if you can catch it out and furan it. Other anti-bacterial medications could work as well.

thanks for the advice bro..

you're actually the only person i could think of when i've got questions about clownfish.. haha..

was thinking if there're any similar bacteria infection that would show a small red patch (like a patch that's being bitten) so i could google it..

i just hope it doesnt spread..

my water condition seem ok,

wonder how did it get it... :(
