I just bought a Weipro 2011 from P#tm@rt today and i know that many users are setting the water level up to just under the black band. i am using a sicce indra to power the skimmer but i cannot set the water level to the desired place. no matter how i turn the knob, the water level is still over. it is only when i adjust the pump to 400l/h flowrate den it lowers. can anyone help me as the low flowrate is causing very little turbulence in the reaction chamber. :thanks:

i read from a thread that a reefer also had this problem. suggestions are that the pump overkill. but 1300l/h for weipro 2011 is overkill?

pls help :thanks:

I had been using a Weipro 2011 with Weipro 3000 PH rated 2300 l/hr, inorder to tune the water level closed to the neck, I need to reduce the flowrate via the outlet to achieve this. So your PH is definitely too powerful for 2011. But you can try wait and see is there any thick skimmate being produce, if yes then don't care so long is not overskim.
