For those that prefer using a more energy efficient alternative to chillers, and have lots of cash to spare, check out Teco's latest aquarium cooling solution.

The E-chill sits on the side of the tank, or in sump and costs an estimated 140, 170 and 210 Euros for the single, double and triple fan models. It is outfitted with water temperature and water level sensors, a removable thermostat which can integrate with Teco chillers.

I wonder if any local reefers would go to such an extent to reduce our carbon footprint by purchasing a $400 fan.

don't think it can bring down the temp to our desirable temp like 25-27, in our country normal heat is 30-32.

for a 5-7 degrees Wow it gonna evaporate most of the water like 25-40% to get it right

Looks like an over priced fan. A normal computer fan could do the job and cost less.

I guess this one comes with temp control.... but yeah, its overpriced.
