blue clove polyps. That's the maximum size the polyp can grow to.

Belongs to genus clavularia but has no species name entitled to it yet.

known scientifically as Clavularia sp.

anyone can ID? should be soft coral right?

Snowflake polyps (Clavularia sp.), one of my favourites... AhBeng (Pacific Reef) call them Blue star polyps too....

those look luminous

is it as hardy as normal cloves? as fast growing too?

likely to cost 5 to 10 times more than normal cloves?

very beautiful

no one knows coz never seen before. this is the only picture on the net.

i don't even know if its clove. could be a pipe organ. some pipe organs have polyps that look exactly like cloves.

such corals will usually cost the same as normal cloves if they turned up unexpectedly as hitchhikers. if the supplier specially sells them at premium prices to LFS, then it's a different story.
