Yes, is a little bleached color... this could be due to not sufficient light..

Normally, they will stretch longer or moving around.. and also secondary effect color bleached....

Give him better light.. he will gain back color...

And make sure no aggresive coral surrounding like mushroom etc,,, to prevent chemical war between them...

Cheers..

I think it is a little bleached. I will feed a inch of prawn once a week. Try to give light as well but if hidden under the rocks, then no choice. But if feeding well then no problems.

Hi, Sorry for late reply....

Share with u something about anemone placement, I learn from my colleage nick "Kareen" & "Beagle1"..

Before placing anemone

1. Setup a cave best only one exit point.. to prevent it retract and suffer insuficient light.

2. Beside that, flow is crucial too.. try supply him indirect flow.. Pls find pics shown below, I snap from Beagle1 tank...

I am amateur on anemone too..

Cheers and Happy reefing...

ur anemone have nt settle down on a spot yet?

Seems like 1st n 2nd pic diff location... becareful it will stun ur mushroom..

==

It settled already. it is on the same spot, only in the 1st pic its tentacles were expended and on the 2nd pic I already removed the stone with mushroom. I actually want it to settle on that area, middle of my tank, but not so inside that it does not get enough light. First few days were terible, it was wandering from one place to another and ended up in wavemaker. Good thing the shroud is big for the tunze.

thanks for yout inputs. For item 2, it's getting indirect flow, same as what you described. My wavemaker is pointed to the front side and flow is reflected to the anemone. For item 2, blocking the other side maybe very difficult because of the current arrangement of rocks. That area is not accessible but I will see what I can do this weekend.
