Anyone got any suggestion on clearing the debris in sump tank.

I believe majority of the reefers have sump tanks that piled up with thick debris build up thru the years.. these creates lots of nitrate...

I understand that for main tank, siphon with a hose during water change can be acheive as it is on higher level. Therefore it work with siphon (gravity Feed).

How about sump tank that is at same ground level... Any sugestions?? thanks for sharing...

Toilet floor where the hole for drainage wan. Use that for vacuuming your sump. That hole with your hose down is lower than your sump Liao. It works coz I always done mine that way. My sump is ever clean every now n then.

Some1 doesn't 1 2 do anything find an excuse,some1 1 2 do something find a mean!
