Back Sea Cucumber

Bought a black sea cucumber 10 days ago and it has been to all over the tank (rocks, glass surface, etc) EXCEPT the sand bed. Tried placing it back onto the sand bed yesterday, it took in some sand but after half an hour, it climbed up the glass surface again. It is now at the water line level again.

What could be the reason? Doesn't it get hungry after so many days?

I thought my cuke was the only strange one doing this stuff.

Initially, my cuke was moving all over the glass tank, rock and later it settle down and cleaning up my sand bed.

it takes a while I suppose? better don't stress the cuke out too much. if not you get a cuke nuke. ouch. not funny if you ask me.

yes so let it crawl down to the sand bed itself. don't try to intervene. not a very nice thing to do if I were a cuke.
