jackywongto
Hi bro would like to know if I mix some calcium media into my main tank? Is it safe to do and does it help in anyway? Bro, Let me try to help. I assume you are talking about the calcium media that you put in Calcium Reactors. These requires CO2 to dissolves them. Putting them in the main tank is not going to help. You can dose calcium additives (these are in powder or liquid form) in your main tank to increase the the calcium level. These additives are different from the calcium media I was talking about earlier. Hope this helps. rgds Jacky Quote Eqpt: Deltec MCE 600, Tunze 6055 with Tunze 7091 controller, Artica 1/15 HP chiller, AquaIllumination Sol Blue LED Light System 2011 resolution : Do it simpler, better and in an easier way! SRC Member DUCADOS Posted April 29, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted April 29, 2010 Ya. Agree. The media is not gonna dissolve as it required CO2. I'm using the additive in powder form. U can get them from reborn. Quote Some1 doesn't 1 2 do anything find an excuse,some1 1 2 do something find a mean!
