Need Help on Tanks

Now i currently own a 4 by 2 tank..... it uses quite a thin layer of glass... i might afraid it might one day give way and cause flood... will this happen???? or anione of u all having the same type of tank as me??? this is the normal type of tank for tropical fish...

Wat's the thickness? If less than 12mm, u have to pray hard that no object to hit against the glass

State your dimension and exact tank size.

There alot of standard tank 4x1.5x1.5 that comes with 6mm. And 4x2x2 normally come in 8 or 10mm for fresh water.

If your glass is too thin, the danger of cracking and leaking is quite high. Especially when knocked of dropping liverocks etc. for a 4x2x2 tank for marine, best to use 10mm or thicker to be safe.

Give details so people here can help you more.

6mm is definitely too thin for marine unless very small tanks. min 10mm for 4feet. if 2.5ft high 12mm

yah lor.. summore no internal overflow or ani holes for sump.....

Hmm just wanna know is those type of marine tank with internal overflow good??? which means there is a partition of overflow in the back center of the tank... is this good??? thought of changing to this 3 feet tank instead of this useless 4 feet tank....
