Hi there

can someone gime some ideas as my cardinial has given birth to 2 small babies.

Should i take it out ?

How/wat do i feed it?

did you get a chance to cut his/her amblilical cords? congrats anyway.

Suppose it is Banggai Cardinal, black n silvery color? This type of cardinal are live-bearers like guppies. Most likely already pregnant during collection and you are one lucky chap to bring her home.

Isolate babies using small cage so that they don't go into overflow, chopped into pieces by propellers or eaten by larger fishes.

but have been having my cardinial for like 6 mths liao

just upgraded them from 2 ft to 3 ft tank abt 2 weeks ago

so cute only like 3mm in length only

how come only 2.. should be more than 10 times that amount. go search ur tank carefully. check filters/powerheads etc.

Just to correct, cardinals are not livebearers.

They are mouth brooders like the arowana. The male cardinal hold the eggs in his mouth.

Trying feeding them with bbs.
