honestly,i dont know, haha...not mentioned in the packaging...but i suppose those bacteria can live prolong in original packaging.

I recall that Nature Ocean live sand has expiry date written at the back of its packaging.

Maybe Volcanic sand does not have expiry date.....

Hi, the expiry date is usually printed on the bottom of the package.

I saw it on both my CaribSea and Nature's Ocean.
